We are thrilled to announce that the results of our Portrait Photography competition are in! Looking at the number of entries we’ve received – WoW – this was a popular one! And it’s clear that we have some incredibly gifted photographers among us.

A huge congratulations go to David Eustache, who has secured first place with his creative portrait. Well done, David!

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated in the competition. Your passion for photography truly shone through in your work, and we’re grateful for your participation.

But the excitement doesn’t stop here! Next week we will be announcing a new theme. So, keep your cameras at the ready and stay tuned for more details. We can’t wait to see what you’ll capture next!

Thank you again for participating and making this competition a success. We are looking forward to the next one!

David will receive a fantastic book – Understanding Portrait Photography: How to Shoot Great Pictures of People.

And to everyone who submitted their images, we would like to offer £25 discount on our portrait courses: Portrait Photography and Studio Lighting, Creative Studio Photography – Flash and Street Portrait Photography with natural light and speedlights.

The Woman on the Train

“I took this photo on the train coming back from London. The low light of the car offered a beautiful reflection of my wife’s face on the window, all accentuated by the black/green contrast and the speed of the train.”
