We are excited to announce our new photo competition – “Furry Friends 
Paws & Claws“. This competition is all about celebrating our love for pets and animals and capturing their unique spirit and charm through your camera’s lens.
As some of you may know, I moved to Panama last year, trading the hustle and bustle of London for a new adventure. While my colleagues continue to run photo classes in London, I’ve been focusing on administrative tasks, our new website and online teaching from here in Panama.
During my time here, I’ve been touched by the plight of the animals in rural Panama. Dogs and cats, innocent and defenceless, suffer from malnutrition, illness, and the unfortunate consequences of overpopulation. It is a heartbreaking reality.
My wife, Asia, has set up a special GoFundMe campaign – “Bring Hope to the Animals of Rural Panama“, to help these animals. The campaign aims to provide essential medications, preventative treatments, and organise spay and neuter clinics to help break the cycle of suffering.
As pet lovers, we know how much joy and companionship our furry friends bring to our lives. That’s why we’re tying this competition with Asia’s “Bring Hope to the Animals of Rural Panama” GoFundMe campaign. Please consider contributing – especially if you have pets 
Our photo competition starts today – Monday, 17th of July, and will run until Thursday, 31st of August. The theme is Pets/Animals, so whether you have a pet or simply love animals, we invite you to participate!
The winner will receive a fantastic book that will help you photograph many furry and feathered visitors in your own backyard – Wildlife Photography at Home: Take Great Photos in Your Own Backyard.
This is not just a competition but a chance to make a difference, to bring hope to these animals, and to capture that hope through your lens.
