We can arrange short refresher sessions, half-day lessons, full-day tuition or custom private training for individuals, couples, small private groups and companies.
Most one-to-one photography tuition now takes place in carefully chosen London locations, depending on what you would like to learn. We can arrange sessions outdoors in central London, in parks, cafés, riverside locations, hired studios or other suitable venues. For specialist subjects such as portrait lighting, product photography or studio flash, we can arrange a hired professional studio when needed.

How do the gift vouchers work?
If you have a voucher for a 1to1 tuition and would like to redeem it then please get in touch. We would like to ask you a few questions about your camera gear and your photographic needs.
This way we will be able to arrange the best tutor for the job and tailor the content of the training. We will also discuss the date of the course to suit your calendar.
All our photography gift vouchers are valid for 6 months – giving recipients plenty of time to redeem their gifts.
What happens after I buy a voucher?
It is very important that you provide us with the full name of the gift voucher recipient. If you haven’t done so during the checkout process, please email us. Without that information, we can not print and send the voucher.
Along with the glossy voucher, you will receive a beautiful handmade card, a copy of the course outline and information on how to use the voucher.
There is plenty of space inside the card for your personal message or Christmas wishes.

How do I book my one to one photography course?
You can book selected one-to-one tuition options directly through the website.
For custom sessions, specialist topics or private group bookings, please contact us by email first. We will ask a few questions about your camera, your experience and what you would like to learn, then recommend the best session length, tutor, location and format.
How much do private photography lessons cost?
One-to-one photography tuition is available in different session lengths, usually from 3 hours to a full day.
Prices depend on the length of the session, the subject, the tutor and whether a hired studio or specialist setup is required. Current prices are shown on the booking options above.
For most new students, we recommend a 4-hour session because it gives enough time to cover the fundamentals properly and include practical exercises.
Do you offer free camera hire?
Camera hire may be available for some one-to-one sessions, but it is no longer automatically available for every lesson.
If you do not have a camera yet, or if you would like to borrow one for your tuition, please contact us before booking. If we can arrange a suitable camera for your session, we will be happy to help.
Camera hire must be agreed in advance and is subject to availability.
What happens if I’m late or miss my 1to1 course?
Please try to arrive around 10 minutes before your session so you have time to prepare your camera and equipment.
If you are running late or cannot find the meeting point, please contact us as soon as possible so we can help.
If you cannot attend on the day, please let us know as early as you can. Depending on the circumstances, tutor availability and any venue or studio hire costs already incurred, we will do our best to rearrange the session.
I can not make it on the day will I get a refund or a credit for another course?
Yes, if you find that you can not attend the course but give us at least 7 days notice, you will be given the choice of a full refund or a credit for another course.
If you notify us less than 7 days to the start of the course and if we manage to re-sell your place or fill that place from the standby list you will receive a full refund or a course credit.
In case we are only notified on the day itself, or if you fail to present yourself at the course then we regret that there will be no refund.
