I came with zero knowledge so the learning was a bonus. Impressed with how much fits in a day. It was a cloudy day, but definitely enough outdoor hands-on activities. Good balance of theory and practice. Creative techniques – fun.
Yes, I’d recommend the course for beginners.
Would love a ā€œnextā€ course. My particular interest is studio shots.
Good value.

I got a good understanding of how to set-up & control the camera in a wide range of light conditions.
Very interactive course + practicing the theory
Day went very quickly + was very enjoyable.
I would recommend it to others.
It was a present but @ £115 for the day, I would be happy to spend my own money on it.

I would definitely recommend this course to my friends. It’s a good combination between theory and hands-on activities. Jason is a great teacher with a good sense of humor and I’m much more confident about using my camera and bringing everything I’ve learned into practice.

Shira Latuhihin

I learned more then I expected in a 1 day session.
Enough hands-on activities and lots of very good examples.
Really enjoyed the creative techniques section
I would definitely recommend this to a friend
It was very good value
Good split between theory and practice
Very nice course!

As a complete novice the course was brilliant as I now feel confident to go and try manual settings. I didn’t know anything beforehand! A bit more in terms of practical sessions would have been good but it was great value and I would recommend to friends as a great introduction to photography. It lived up to my expectations so thanks!!

The course was great. I came knowing nothing about my camera – I now know the techniques & have the knowledge to really build my skills.
I thought the course was a good mix of theory + practice.
I would definitely recommend the course to others.
I thought the course was good value!

My transition from web design to photography started about 15 years ago, after my first trip to Central America. Disappointed with pictures in auto, I decided to take matters into my own hands and learn how to use the camera to its full potential in manual mode and improve my photography.
