Hi Everyone, a bigĀ thank you for submitting your pictures to ourĀ The Colours of Autumn Photo Competition

The winning shot was awarded to Ami Jane GrantInstagramCongratulations!

I would call my picture ā€˜Queen’s Wizard of Oz’. As it reminded me of the red field in the wizard of Oz. It was taken in the Queen’s garden at Buckingham Palace. I just love the different colours of autumn over here. I never noticed the colours back in Australia.

My transition from web design to photography started about 15 years ago, after my first trip to Central America. Disappointed with pictures in auto, I decided to take matters into my own hands and learn how to use the camera to its full potential in manual mode and improve my photography.
