Hi Everyone, thank you for submitting your entries to the “Patterns, Shapes and Textures” photography competition!
Lots of images, so many different subjects, from stairs and pavements to plants, spider webs, lamps and frost on a car windscreen…
It is always hard to pick a winner, but in the end, the trophy goes to Richard Pearce for his image of a rounded staircase full of patterns!
– Congrats everyone! And we hope to see more entries for the April competition – “Springtime, Nature and Flowers”
Winning image:
Richard Pearce
“Ammonite”
I took this image whilst walking through the Barbican which is a popular photography haunt. I came up the stairwell and once at the top I looked down and saw the curve of the stairs but also the ‘gaps’ around it filled with other patterns which fill the frame nicely.
and one more from Richard
And selected pictures from all submitted:
Colin Moore
Paco Sanz
Anthony Outhwaite
Ian Sutherland
Sophie Moore
Mark Rennison
Miriam Spalla
Aylini Town
Demetris Demetriou
Congratulations to all who submitted their entries!
