The photo was taken when my husband and I were on honeymoon last month. We were at Minneriya National Park in Sri Lanka. Our jeep driver drove right up to the elephants and the mother began chasing us (with surprising anger!) to protect her young.

Picture was taken at Wisley RHS gardens on a very overcast day – I enjoyed the intricate geometry and patterns of this large succulent plant growing in a covered area just outside the glasshouse entrance.

It is really important to go out and practice. Our photography courses can give you all the technical knowledge but by far the best way to improve – is to practice!
