Learning how to use a camera – One Day Intensive Photography Course

— 30th August 2023

Last week a group of passionate photography enthusiasts gathered for our full-day Intensive Photography course, led by the talented Katerina. With a commitment to ensuring personalized attention, we kept the group intimate, hosting only five participants.

The day was a blend of indoor studio work, where participants worked with artificial light, and outdoor practice in a local park, capturing the beauty of nature in natural light.

The feedback from our participants speaks volumes about the transformative experience they had.

5* Reviews from the students!

I signed up for the course because I had a camera for a while but I stopped using it and forgot how it worked.

The practical exercises were superb, and I’ve learnt how to use the camera and when to adjust shutter speed and aperture for variety of creative effects.

The Intensive beginners course has met my expectations and I would highly recommend it to others!

Bernie – Fujifilm X20

I bought my new camera about two months ago. I have Canon R6 and for some reason I struggled with focusing and getting sharp background.

I signed up for a course because I wanted to learn how to use the camera better and to take my photography skills to the next level.

I absolutely loved the course and I would highly recommend it!

Sara – Canon R6

I had a camera for a long time but I only used it on auto.

I signed up for the course becasue I am going to Canada for 3 weeks and I thought it would be best to learn how to use my camera properly.

The course was brilliant. I feel confident to use my camera now!

The tutor was fabulous. She was very patient and would make sure everyone was comfortable.

Helen – Canon 1300D

I booked teh course becasue I wanted to stop using “auto” and learn all the aspects of how I can use my camera better.

I have learnt about all the fundamentals, importantly the three pillars of exposures: aperture, shutter speed, ISO.

I just now need to practice a lot and to use “manual” settings for my photography.

Great day course! Would highly recommend to everyone!

Lesley – Olympus E-M5 mkII

I signed up for the course because I bought a new camera and wanted to know how to use it.

The class went above my expectations and made me very excited and confident to get out and use my new digital camera.

I would recommend this class to anyone who wants to learn basic understanding of their camera.

Katie – Fujifilm X-T30 mkII
