Create beautiful panoramic images of the London skyline!

On Thursday 21st May, join me near London Bridge for a relaxed and inspiring small-group London Cityscape Panorama Workshop.

You’ll learn how to photograph London’s skyline, architecture and city lights at sunset and blue hour using multiple overlapping frames and bracketed exposures, then how to merge and edit your images in a live online session using Lightroom Classic and Photoshop.

The result is a richer, more immersive image than a single frame can usually produce β€” with beautiful colour, excellent detail and enough resolution for large prints.

And while we’ll be focusing on London cityscapes, these are techniques you can also use for sunrise scenes, panoramic landscapes and many other situations.

I’m running just one session, with places limited to 6 participants.

When London Begins to Glow!

The sky deepens, the windows glow, and for a few minutes the whole city feels bigger, colours richer, and everything just more cinematic.

You can already see the final image in your mind.

You know it could be incredible.

The challenge is knowing how to capture all of it.

That’s the gap between seeing a great scene and knowing how to photograph it.

This workshop is designed to help you close that gap.

Workshop format:

Date: Thursday, 21st of May 2026

Meeting point: London Bridge

Start: 7:00pm | Finish: 10:00pm

Part 1: Practical session in central London
3 hours
We meet shortly before sunset and photograph London as the light changes into blue hour. I will guide you through the full capture process step by step.

Part 2: Live Zoom editing session

After the shoot, we meet online for image critique and a live editing class where I demonstrate how to merge and edit your images in Lightroom Classic and/or Photoshop.

What makes this workshop different?

Most cityscape workshops focus only on taking the pictures.

This one also shows you how to turn those files into a finished panorama.

You will learn both:

  1. how to capture a panorama properly on location
  2. how to stitch and edit it afterwards

That means you will leave with a full workflow you can use again on your own.

Take Your Photography to the Next Level!

On location

  • how to compose a strong cityscape panorama
  • how to shoot multiple overlapping frames correctly
  • how to use bracketed exposures for difficult light
  • how to work with a tripod for sharp imagesΒ and consistent results
  • how to photograph London at sunset and blue hour with confidence

During the online editing session

  • how to merge panorama sequences in Lightroom Classic
  • how to use Photoshop when extra control is needed
  • how to combine bracketed exposures for better dynamic range
  • how to refine colour, contrast and detail
  • how to prepare your final image for sharing or printing
