DSLR Photography Courses is the proud sponsor of ‘Gathered Leaves‘ an exhibition showcasing the work of documentary photographer Alec Soth at the Science Museum.

This collection of works is Soth’s first UK show and it features the series Sleeping by the Mississippi (2004), Niagara (2006), Broken Manual (2010) and Songbook (2014). His experimental documentary approach has a cinematic rawness, which he uses to capture intimate portraits and ethereal landscapes. However, his experimental imagery is still grounded by an appreciation of the tradition works of Walker Evans, Stephen Shore and Robert Frank.

To commemorate our sponsorship, the Science Museum is running a competition to win a copy of the Gathered Leaves exhibition catalogue signed by Alec Soth and a course of your choice from our range at DSLR Photography Courses. This includes tuition for absolute beginners or seasoned professionals who may want to broaden their skills.

To enter, please follow the link below and submit your details before 28th March 2016.
