I wish I had done the course a while ago! Will still need hours of practice, but finally got my head around what to practice on & how to present it.
Shutter speed, aperture and ISO finally make sense as a whole, and I’m also grateful for the composition techniques we’ve had an overview on. For me there’s enough hands-on activities to remember the theory easily, more practice would need to follow up later.
For a 1 day course, it covers quite a lot and really allows to get a good a comprehension of not only the DSLR world but rather photography world in general.

I’ve been playing with the camera for the last year, after being on the course everything seems much clearer and I have a greater understanding of what the camera can do and how to do it.
I will go away from the course much more confident and am looking forward to sending many hours practicing and having lots of fun with people by taking their pictures. I would definitely recommend the course to my friends.

I learned the theory behind photography and the important aspects such as aperture, exposure, etc.., which has given me the ability to apply the principles in practice. Due to adverse weather conditions not as much hands on practice as was initially planned.
Really enjoyed the creative aspect and would definitely recommend to others.

I only just got the camera as a gift and found the course extremelly useful and gave me the besic tools to understand the camera and how to take much better pictures.
Jason was very knowledgeable and very interesting as well as patient. The technical bits became clearer with practice and I feel I now have the tools to improve and become a decent amateur photographer. I would not hesitate to recommend the course to any one wanting a foundation course or deeper knowledge.
