Karen Brickley – “A new day beckons”, The picture is of the Beacon Windmill at Rottingdean, taken about 10 minutes before sunrise. I shot quite a few that morning, through the blue hour, sunrise and to the golden hour. It was a pretty magical morning with constantly changing light conditions, playing on the grasses and wildflowers in the nature reserve around the windmill. This was taken at 28mm f/25 8/5s ISO 100 and I used a tripod.
